A Different Kind of Children’s Yoga Teacher Training
This training was created by Laura, a psychology graduate and former primary school teacher with over 10 years of experience working with children.
After years in the classroom, Laura realised many children didn’t need more rules or pressure - they needed movement, creativity and tools to regulate their emotions.
Yoga became a powerful tool to help children feel calmer, more engaged and more connected to their bodies.
What Makes This Training Unique
This children’s yoga teacher training blends:
• Child development theory
• Creative teaching techniques
• Story, music and play
• Emotional regulation tools
• Practical class planning
The result is a training that helps you become not just a yoga instructor, but a teacher who truly understands how children learn and grow.
What You’ll Learn to Confidently Teach Children’s Yoga
By the end of the training, you’ll have the skills, confidence and accredited qualification needed to start teaching children’s yoga classes.
Here’s what you’ll gain the confidence & skills to do:
Understand what children truly need to thrive - physically, emotionally and socially - and how children’s yoga can support their development in a joyful, meaningful way.
Confidently teach yoga to children aged 3–11 - using playful activities, movement and imagination to keep kids engaged and excited to learn.
Plan creative and engaging kids yoga classes - using stories, games, music and movement that help children build confidence and emotional awareness.
Support children’s wellbeing through yoga - helping them learn how to regulate their emotions, move their bodies and feel calmer and more connected.
Bring creativity into your children’s yoga sessions - blending art, storytelling and playful activities to create classes that children genuinely love.
Explore family yoga and group class ideas - including fun yoga sequences and movement routines that work beautifully with children.
Leave with the skills and confidence to start teaching children’s yoga classes - whether in schools, studios, community settings or your own classes.
Learn how to promote and grow your kids yoga classes - turning your passion for children’s yoga into a meaningful and rewarding career.

About your teacher
Hi, I’m Laura!
I'm a Yoga Alliance accredited experienced yoga teacher, an Early Years and Primary School teacher, and an Artist Educator—and Laura's Yoga Club was born out of my love for three things: children, yoga, and art.
Why I created this training:
For seven years, I taught in primary schools across Manchester and London, and I saw the same challenge again and again: children were being fast-tracked through an intense academic curriculum and a whirlwind of social challenges, but they weren't being given the tools to understand their bodies, minds, or emotions.
When I started teaching yoga to children, I witnessed something powerful. Children became better able to articulate how they felt, understand their emotions, cope with stress, develop body awareness, and self-regulate.
Why my approach is different:
As an Artist Educator with a Masters from UCL in arts education, I learned that children thrive when we shift from product-driven to process-led learning—giving them freedom to explore, create, and discover rather than following rigid, prescribed plans. I've brought this philosophy into every aspect of my children's yoga teaching.
There's a beautiful link between yoga and art: both invite playfulness, imagination, and self-expression. This training weaves them together to equip you with creative, inspiring, joyful ways to teach children's yoga—because life is too short for boring plans.
Everything I've learned—from the classroom, from museums and galleries, from years of teaching yoga to little ones—has been lovingly poured into this course to help you bring a toolbox of skills to the children you'll work with.
Much love,
Laura X
Why Choose This Children’s Yoga Teacher Training?
Here's what makes it different:
Illustrated plans that actually inspire. Forget dry, text-heavy lesson plans. Every class template in this course is beautifully illustrated and designed to spark your creativity, not stifle it. You'll receive ready-to-use plans that children (and you!) will love.
Real-world, tested content. Every module, every activity, every tip comes from actual experience teaching children's yoga in schools, nurseries, and community classes. This isn't theory—it's what works.
Designed for how children actually learn. From neurodiversity-informed approaches to trauma-aware teaching, you'll learn to create inclusive, joyful classes that meet children exactly where they are.
Playful, creative, and fun. Yoga for children should be full of imagination, laughter, and movement. This training celebrates play as a powerful teaching tool and shows you how to bring that magic into every class.
Comprehensive support for your whole journey. From safeguarding and class management to building your business and marketing your services, you'll graduate with everything you need to teach confidently and grow sustainably.

I've just completed Laura's 50hr Kids Yoga Teacher trainer course and honestly could not recommend enough! ❤️🌈💫 Laura is such a great teacher and the course was so well thought through and engaging. She's got such a creative way of teaching and it was full of so many amazing resources and ideas. From just the first weekend I already felt confident enough to teach my first class with some young people I work with to test some ideas and it went so well! The assessment section at the end of the course on the second weekend really showed what an AMAZING course it was, watching the other 10 trainees running the most amazing segments of a kids yoga class really shows the quality of Lauras teacher training. Honestly 10/10. The in person days were soo much fun, the group of other trainees were so lovely I've made some amazing friends and people I hope I can collaborate with on projects and classes in the future. The online modules are also really great and engaging, Laura using her creativity and lots colours and illustrations throughout all the course modules, so its such fun and engaging all the way! Thank you so much Laura, this course honestly exceeded all expectations and I can't wait to weave all these amazing tools and ideas into the work I do with the kids! Thank you again ❤️🌈💫 And if your thinking about doing a course with Laura then I 100% recommend! Xxxx

It’s hard to put into words how amazing Laura’s kids yoga training was! It was above and beyond what I could have imagined and the level of thought, detail and care is just incredible. I now feel really excited and confident that I will be able to deliver memorable, effective and fun yoga classes to children and families. The course was also so helpful in the practical and business side of things which means I feel I will be able to take the steps to making this work. Laura is also a fantastic teacher who is happy to answer hundreds of questions! I couldn’t recommend her course enough. It’s been a really inspiring and I can’t wait to get going. Thank you Laura
